Yves Larock is back doing what he’s does best – being held up in his studio and producing music of epic stature. The material we’ve been fed so far has been good, but this latest offering, Without Love, a collaboration with Tony Sylla will certainly be pricking the ears up of the elite FM’s and DJ’s accordingly, and in doing so setting dance floors ablaze the world over.

Showcasing the vocal talents of Akil Wingate, ‘Without Love’ delivers the comprehensive checklist of a commercial smash. With such a modern, progressive-edged feel, lush pads and a hypnotic backing vox, it’s sure to get the mind wondering. The package includes a highly charged Radio edit, one of the best we’ve heard this year. The Original and Dub versions are what can only be described as pure dance floor dynamite. On remix duties is Yves himself as Yves C, delivering a refreshing alternative, tribal and pan-piped twist. Whilst Tony Sylla serves up a good measure of floor-begging basslines making for a chunkier and uplifting club edit. Lastly but by no means least – H2rogen & Fr3cky deliver something perfectly tuned for the Balearics, chunky, funky and with a groove on!

Given that his previous global sensations ‘Zookey’ (2005) and ‘Rise Up’ (2007) are still transmitting across the airwaves to this day, there is no doubting the reminiscent charms of ‘Without Love’ will follow in similar fashion.

2010 is the year “Millia Records” will impress and bestow on the electronic dance music community. A yearlong catalogue of releases is planned, and with Yves having taken up more or less a permanent residence in his studio, we sure we won’t be eating our words by the time we’ve reached 2011.
