MilliaRock Radio Show 50th edition – get involved!
Hi guys! It’s almost the weekend and we’re getting very excited at Millia HQ – we’re now in full on preparations for the 50th edition of the MilliaRock Radio Show. Since we started with our first show in 2010, we’re now broadcasting across 13 different countries, 16 separate stations, on Mixcloud and on iTunes – and each week we’re hitting over 14 million listeners – wow!
For our 50th show, as well as giving you an exclusive half hour mix session recorded live on the road, we’re also opening up the floor to fans to vote for your favourite Yves track. Simply visit the website – www.yveslarock.com – in the coming weeks and vote for your top Larock production. It could be anything from Yves’ discography including Zookey, Rise Up, Listen To The Music Inside, Until Tomorrow, Milky Way or The Zoo – it’s totally up to you! The most popular tracks will be blended as only Yves knows how – and one lucky voter will also get their hands an engraved iPod packed with all 50 MilliaRock shows!
For now though, give your ears a treat and head over to the Music & Radio page and grab the latest MilliaRock show to get you in the mood for the weekend!

Good morning LA!
Good morning LA!
Morning everyone! I’m coming to you live from LA where I’ve just finished an awesome night at Ecco – I’m still buzzing from how good it was! Big shout out and thanks to the people that came out to see me there, at Chateau in Vegas and at Sloane Squared in San Francisco – I’m very much feeling the West Coast love right now
I’ll be back at Chateau next month to continue my summer residency there.
In other news, my track with Jesus Luz, Running Man, is now in the hands of a select few DJs so I was thrilled when I heard that Laurent Wolf played it in his latest podcast – praise indeed! If you want to hear the track go to http://podcasts.flaix.fr/laurentwolf?format=xml – and of course don’t forget to get your weekly fill of the Millia Rock radio show at the same time at www.yveslarock.com/music-and-radio! More news on Running Man and its official release date coming soon.
Also keep your eyes out for an amazing new EP from Fred Lilla coming out on Millia Records on May 27th, Wisteria / Strain. This is the second time we’ve had Fred on Millia Records and with support for him coming from the likes of Arno Cost, Sebastien Ingrosso, Norman Doray and more, he’s definitely one for you to check out.
Anyway, as always, have a great week yourselves, I’ll have more news of exciting work coming later this week so stay tuned to www.yveslarock.com!

News from the editing suite!
News from the editing suite!
So another Monday comes and today I’m in the studio putting the final touches to the video for my new track The Zoo. Without saying too much – I don’t want to spoil the surprise! – but it’s definitely something very different to what most people will be used to from me. Keep your eyes peeled throughout the week for more news on that one.
Also if you recall a few weeks ago, I mentioned my Focalized project, which is something that myself and Tony Sylla have decided to do. The first track is called In Your Eyes and will be released first in France – details to come soon – but all profits from the track will go to different homeless charities around the world. I believe that we can make a difference at the same time as being creative – so I’m putting my money where my mouth is! Again stay tuned for more news on In Your Eyes over the coming weeks.
For now though, it’s back to the editing suite!
Peace, Yves

Awesome Easter, Milky Way on the rise and news of more new music!
Awesome Easter, Milky Way on the rise and news of more new music!
What an Easter weekend! I’m sending a massive thank you to everyone in America who came out and saw me play at Paris in Las Vegas and Greenhouse in New York – you guys rocked it for me and I’m buzzing about returning next month
For the moment though, I’m back in the studio putting the final touches to my next single, ‘The Zoo’. As well as the original we’ve got remixes from Muzzaik and Ralph Good which I’m thrilled about – just got to get all the levels mastered, then I’ll be sending the first lot of promos out to radio next week so you should hear it on a radio station near you very soon!
In other news, Milky Way just keeps on going and going! We’ve already had some huge successes with the track since it was released, with big labels knocking on the Millia Records door to snap it up. Now we’ve just heard that the single is number 20 in the official UK Dance Charts – what a fantastic Easter present!
I hope you guys all had just as good an Easter as I did!
Peace, Yves

Happy Easter and a trip to NYC!
Happy Easter and a trip to NYC!
Happy Easter guys! Right now I’m still in the US, just coming down from an amazing, mind-blowing night at Chateau in Paris Hotel, Vegas. Luckily for me this is my new residency so I get to come back next month!
I’ve now got two days to chill out and then it’s over to Greenhouse in NYC to take part in their Earth Day celebrations. Greenhouse is an amazing idea – the whole place is built out of recycled/recyclable material which is definitely going to be a first for me! I’ll be headlining their New York Beach Bash, where we’ll be raising money for The Earth Organisation’s campaign to clean-up the waters and beaches affected by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
They’ll also be operating a Text To Give campaign on the night – so if you’re in the States and you want to help, just text 6777 to ‘Greenhouse’ and any donation over $10 will get a complimentary admission into the club. It’s always good to give!
Have a great weekend, whatever you’re doing – and if you’re in the Big Apple I hope to see you on the dance floor!
Peace, Yves

sees me start my new monthly summer residency at Chateau, at the Paris Hotel in Vegas (I’m a high roller baby!),
then Greenhouse in the Big Apple on April 22nd. Then in May I’m back again,
this time at Sloane Squared in San Francisco on May 13th, back to Chateau on May 14th
and Ecco in LA on May 15th. If you’re in any of those areas I’d love to see
you
In other news I’ve just finished putting my selection together for the
forthcoming ‘Larock’ compilation which will come out this May – keep your
ears peeled for more news of that over the coming weeks.

That Friday feeling!
That Friday feeling!
Happy Friday! And of course to all you jokers out there, Happy April Fool’s Day too
Today marks the first of the month and – apart from 3 dates in Las Vegas and NYC which look on the cards – for the whole of April I’m going to be locked down in my studio making music – this makes me very happy as my brain is buzzing right now with so many ideas! In fact right now, I’m in the Redroom Studio with Philippe Weiss the mix Running Man, a collaboration between myself and Jesus Luz. This one is going to be huge so watch out for more news coming soon!
One idea in particular that I’d like your help with is a new project that I’m creating with my good friend Tony Sylla. This week I’ve been editing and shooting the video for a new track called ‘Hope Is In Your Eyes’, dealing with the issues of homelessness in our society. We hope to release a series of tracks tackling different problems that we face on our streets, in our homes and in our lives today. And while we have plenty of ideas for the music, one thing that we do need is a name for the overall concept. That’s where you come in – what do you think it should be called? Send me your suggestions to yves@yveslarock.com or of course you can post them direct on my Facebook (www.facebook.com/yves-larock-official-page) or twitter (www.twitter.com/yveslarock). The winning suggestion will be sent something very special so get your creative juices flowing!
Whatever you’re doing this weekend have a great one, and I’ll see you on the other side,
Peace, Yves
